Dr. Carlos Ciller, PhD
PhD in Life Sciences with a focus on machine learning and medical imaging from University of Lausanne (CHUV-CIBM) & EPFL, and the ARTORG Center from University of Bern.
During 2015-2016 he was a visiting PhD student at BioMedIA, in the Department of Computing from Imperial College London, UK. Several years of work experience as Project Manager R&D in IT and Healthcare. Former President of Innovation Forum Imperial College London, has participated in +15 peer-reviewed journal publications, patents and books.

Dr. Volker Wendel, PhD
Volker Wendel, CEO of Sanoptis, founded the ophthalmology network in 2018 with support from Telemos Capital. Under his leadership, Sanoptis expanded to over 400 locations across six countries, becoming a European market leader.
In 2022, Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL) became the majority shareholder. With a background in Business Administration and a PhD in Healthcare Management, Volker has built a career in healthcare, holding roles at Roland Berger, the University Hospital of Essen, AMEOS, and Artemis eye clinics, where he developed a passion for ophthalmology.
Paul Yoo, O.D.
Paul Yoo, OD, is a seasoned executive in the ophthalmic and healthcare innovation sector, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Venture Capital and Chief of Staff at Topcon Healthcare. He has held leadership roles at Equinox Ophthalmic, ClarVista Medical, Carl Zeiss Meditec, and AcuFocus, driving clinical operations, regulatory strategy, and product innovation.
His work has led to significant regulatory approvals for novel ophthalmic devices. Paul holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry and a B.A. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley.
